At Christmas we gave our 3 year old grandson the children’s books…he lives in Sussex and we live on the Cambs/Northants border. Ryta’s books were a wonderful introduction to a village in Northamptonshire that is dear our family. This is the village of Wadenhoe where our grandson’s great grandmother lived as a child in a cottage opposite the King’s Head pub. In Jan we had a family meal at the King’s Head and our grandson was able to connect Ryta’s story with the village, the pub and the animals.
A great insight, thank you Ryta.
